With India’s infrastructure boom, MicroGenesis CADSoft saw a clear opportunity. The game-changing strategic decision was to create a sales and technical team fully dedicated to Bentley solutions.

“Building a dedicated team has been a game-changer for us,” Jacob stated. “It sends a message to our own team that we are very serious about this business, and it helps us to stay very focused.”

The result was immediate. The team, deeply trained in the Bentley portfolio, began to understand customer pain points on a deeper level. Instead of just selling a product, they presented precise solutions for complex challenges. The reaction from customers, according to Jacob, was often: “This is exactly what we’ve been waiting for.”

Jacob recalled a standout case: a client working on a major project with teams operating in silos, using different products with no collaboration. “We took a look at it and asked, ‘Why are you working like this,’” he asked.

MicroGenesis CADSoft introduced an integrated portfolio of Bentley solutions:  OpenRoads for the road design, OpenFlows Water for water projects, and  STAAD for structural analysis. “When they saw that all the work they were doing could be done through a Bentley solution, they started implementing it and now collaborate much better,” Jacob reported.
