Rodrigo Fernandes is (Global) Director of Sustainability at Bentley Systems, leading the implementation of the company’s sustainability business strategy and initiatives. Rodrigo’s charter is to empower sustainable development through Bentley software and services, evangelize Bentley’s handprint, and advocate for a sustainability culture.
Rodrigo has served as an external expert for the Portuguese Ministry of the Sea and for the European Commission and where he was also a European Climate Pact Ambassador.
Rodrigo is an industry expert on environmental engineering and environmental digital twins, with experience around sustainability-related product strategy, and knowledgeable on climate-related topics and their links to infrastructure projects, software, and services. He also integrates the WGIC (World Geospatial Industry Council) Committee for Partnerships & Industry Engagement, he serves as a member of the Water & Climate Export Group in Water Europe, and is a Board Member of the Sustainability Infrastructure Advisory Board (SIAB) from the Institute of Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI)
In his previous role, at Bentley, he worked as a senior consultant and project manager on the Water Infrastructure Team, and then as business development / environmental industry expert for Acceleration Team and Digital Cities.
He joined Bentley in 2017 with the acquisition of Action Modulers’ Water Business Unit. Before that, he was a Researcher at Marine, Environment & Technology Center (MARETEC), University of Lisbon.
He has a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering and has designed and managed over 20 European innovation projects on modeling water resources and environmental safety issues, authoring +30 peer-reviewed papers.
Rory Linehan is the Director of Infrastructure Policy Advancement for North America at Bentley Systems, based in Washington, D.C. With over 15 years of experience in infrastructure, trade, and climate policy, Rory works with stakeholders to demonstrate the economic and environmental advantages of digital infrastructure.
Prior to Bentley, Rory advised the Executive Vice President of the Inter-American Development Bank, supporting infrastructure development in Latin America and the Caribbean. At the G20 Global Infrastructure Hub, he led initiatives to mobilise private capital for infrastructure in Emerging Markets and Developing Economies (EMDEs).
Rory’s career includes leadership roles in the public and private sectors. As Director for International Relations APAC at Jacobs, he advanced global infrastructure partnerships.
Previously, he served as a diplomat and civil servant with Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, where he managed infrastructure priorities in the U.S. and supported major trade agreements across the Indo-Pacific.
A Global Fellow at the Wilson Center, Rory writes on U.S. infrastructure policy. He also advises the UN-backed Infrastructure Sustainable Learning Initiative (ISLe) and serves on the board of Stonewall Sports, the largest LGBTQ non-profit sporting league in the U.S.
Rory holds a master’s degree in International Relations from Macquarie University and a bachelor’s degree in International Business from the Australian National University.
Amelia Burnett is the Digital Financial Strategies Director in the Infrastructure Policy Advancement team at Bentley Systems. Based in Aotearoa New Zealand, she collaborates with stakeholders across finance, insurance, industry associations, and government worldwide to harness digital transformation and data-driven leadership for improved infrastructure investment decision-making. With over a decade of experience fostering partnerships to drive transformation in the infrastructure and construction sector, alongside 15+ years in strategic engagement and communications, Amelia is dedicated to advancing sustainable, resilient, and inclusive infrastructure.
Previously, Amelia worked in private consultancy and held leadership roles at the Global Infrastructure Hub, the G20’s infrastructure advisory body. As Associate Director – InfraTech, she led global initiatives with governments, multilateral development banks, and industry to increase investment in InfraTech-enabled infrastructure projects. She has produced G20 reports on InfraTech ecosystems, sustainable finance mobilisation, and infrastructure taxonomies.
Earlier in her career, Amelia held leadership positions in major UK-based infrastructure transformation programmes, including the National Digital Twin programme, the Construction Innovation Hub, and the Centre for Digital Built Britain, based at the University of Cambridge.
Committed to advancing systems thinking and digital adoption in the built environment, Amelia holds certifications in Inclusive Infrastructure and Public-Private Partnerships (PPP). She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Auckland and is currently pursuing a Master of Sustainable Business at the University of Otago.

Louis-Martin Losier’s unique career began at the intersection of past and future, with an undergraduate degree majoring in archaeology and minoring in geomatics. He built upon this by earning a master’s in geomatics at Laval University and a doctorate in civil engineering at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) in Environmental Geotechnics, establishing a deep academic foundation for his work. He immediately applied this expertise as an entrepreneur, co-founding a startup in Rio de Janeiro in 2011 where he led over 50 risk management projects, earning multiple recognitions for innovative solutions.
Since joining Bentley Systems as a Product Manager in 2018, Louis-Martin has been a key driver of innovation, bringing over 20 years of experience to his work. He focuses on integrating geospatial context and artificial intelligence into infrastructure workflows, empowering professionals to work more efficiently and effectively.
His passion for technology is matched by his commitment to sustainability. As a Sustainability Ambassador at Bentley, he advocates for digital solutions to environmental challenges. This work is exemplified by his contribution to the World Geospatial Industry Council (WGIC) whitepaper with the Global Covenant of Mayors, ACCELERATING CITY CLIMATE ACTION THROUGH GEOSPATIAL DATA. He also serves as Bentley’s business representative at the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC), working to advance industry-wide collaboration for a sustainable future.
Tomas Kellner joined Bentley Systems as the company’s first Chief Storyteller, reporting to the CMO. He also leads Bentley’s Social Media team. Tasked with modernizing the brand, communications, and marketing functions, he designed and executed a comprehensive owned media strategy within his first nine months. This included launching new editorial initiatives, video series, and distribution channels. Kellner significantly increased traffic to Bentley Insights, the company’s flagship news site, and introduced The Bentley Brief newsletter, which has already surpassed industry benchmarks. Under his leadership, the Bentley Storytelling Program has become a key strategic asset for marketing, brand building, communications and HR.
