    • PLAXIS Designer conceptual models can be exported to PLAXIS 3D LE, PLAXIS 2D LE, and PLAXIS 2D numerical modeling modules for analysis in the areas of slope stability, stress/deformation, consolidation, and groundwater.

  • Generate Depositional Surfaces

    • Generate a set of slurried depositional surfaces for a user-defined filling scenario. A subsequent filling curve showing elevation versus volume can be generated.
  • Import Multiple File Types

    • Import extensive and dense topography and geostrata data from a variety of sources. Many common 3D file storage types are supported, including mesh (TINs), grids, and scatter points. It allows PLAXIS Designer to provide an amalgamated 3D site view of relevant data on a consistent coordinate system.
  • Integrate Borehole Information

    • Use Bentley's geotechnical information management applications, connect to OpenGround Cloud, and import from gINT for borehole data, as well as other standard formats. Create fence diagrams and interpret complex geology.
  • Integrate Field Data

    • Integrate field data, such as piezometer data from the sensemetrics cloud platform, to display piezometer locations and water levels as a function of time.
  • Represent Complex 3D Geology

    • Multiple 3D model-building methodologies are available, including extrusions, 2D cross-section stitching, 3D layer cake, or the material volume method.
  • Utilize the Comprehensive Editing Toolset

    • Perform surface intersection, transformation, extrusion, mesh refinement, and other advanced operations on your data. Cut roadways or open pit mine benches. Save multiple 3D model volumes, 2D slices, and water tables scenarios for an iterative geotechnical information management-design-analysis workflow.
