Greg Bentley

Chief Executive Officer

Greg joined his four brothers at Bentley Systems in 1991. Previously, he founded a financial trading software firm, which became part of SunGard Data Systems, Inc., an S&P 500 company on whose public-company board Greg served from 1991 through 2005. He holds an M.B.A. in finance and decision sciences from Wharton. Greg is a trustee of Drexel University, where he also serves as chairman of the advisory board for the Pennoni Honors College, and a trustee of the National Building Museum.

Keith A. Bentley

Founder and Chief Technology Officer 

Keith is a founder of Bentley Systems and is the principal architect of the company’s technology directions. He has served as a director and an executive officer since Bentley’s inception, and was the company’s president until 1995 and CEO until 2000. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Delaware and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Florida. Keith is the primary inventor on numerous patents.

Barry J. Bentley, Ph.D.

Executive Vice President and Director

Barry is a founder of Bentley Systems and has served as a director and an executive officer since the company’s inception in 1984. He is one of the originators of MicroStation and has been continuously involved in the planning and development of Bentley’s software products and technology. Barry served as chairman of the board from 1984 to 1996. His software development career dates back to 1979, when he co-founded and served as vice president of Dynamic Solutions Corporation, developing products for data acquisition and analysis. Barry holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Delaware and an M.S. and Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the California Institute of Technology.

Raymond B. Bentley

Executive Vice President, Software Engineering

Ray is one of the original developers at Bentley Systems. He was the lead developer for MicroStation and chief architect in the Core-Graphics group. Ray earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a master’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Cincinnati.

Malcolm Walter

Malcolm S. Walter

Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President

Malcolm joined Bentley in 1999 and has served as COO and senior vice president since 2000. He is responsible for Bentley’s global sales, service and marketing organizations. Prior to joining Bentley, Malcolm served as CFO for R&B, Inc., a NASDAQ listed company and a worldwide distributor of automotive parts for aftermarket repair. Previously, he held positions in finance and operations with several technology companies. Malcolm is a C.P.A. and spent six years at Arthur Andersen. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Malcolm serves on the boards of Water for People and the Presidio Graduate School.

David Hollister

David Hollister

Chief Financial Officer

David has served as Bentley’s Chief Financial Officer since 2007.  In addition, David leads Bentley’s IT, Business Intelligence and MANAGEservices functions. David is responsible for Bentley’s Portfolio Development activities, including M&A and Accelerated Commercial Development, and lends executive sponsorship and oversight to Bentley’s Offshore and Asset Performance Management solutions.  Prior to joining Bentley, he was the CFO and a member of the board of directors for Broder Bros., Co., a $1 billion apparel distributor and Bain Capital portfolio company.  David also served as a director in the M&A Transaction Services practice at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, LLP, where he specialized in international transactions. He is a C.P.A. and earned an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan.

Bhupinder Singh

Senior Vice President, Bentley Software

Bhupinder joined Bentley in 1994 and is the Senior Vice President of Bentley Software. His team is responsible for the strategic direction, development and delivery of Bentley’s industry leading software solutions for sustaining infrastructure. His prior roles at the company include managing director of sales for Bentley South Asia and senior vice president of the Platform Products Group. Prior to joining Bentley, Bhupinder held various software engineering positions at Montgomery Watson Hazra, Bell Labs and Intergraph Corporation. Bhupinder holds master’s degrees in Computer Science from Rutgers University, Structural Engineering from Vanderbilt University, and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from IIT Delhi. He also has a certificate in Management from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

David G. Nation

Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs, General Counsel and Secretary

David has served as Bentley’s senior vice president of corporate affairs, general counsel and secretary since December 1995. In addition, he supervises Bentley's human resources department. Before joining Bentley, David was senior vice president and general counsel of Continental Medical Systems, Inc., a New York Stock Exchange listed company and, prior to that, he was a partner at the law firm of Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP. David is a member of the Board of Directors of the Business Software Alliance (BSA). He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from Boston University School of Law.

John Riddle

John Riddle

Senior Vice President, North American Operations

John has served as Bentley’s senior vice president of North American Operations since 2000. Prior to joining Bentley, he held vice president positions at Integic and Cabletron, where he led federal, Middle East, and mid-Atlantic sales and operations. John also spent nearly 10 years at Intergraph Corporation, as director of federal sales. He earned a degree in mathematics from the University of Oklahoma and was decorated for his service as an officer in the U.S. Army.

Ted Lamboo

Senior Vice President, Civil and Geospatial Global Operations

Ted has managed Bentley's Transportation, Utilities, Communications and Government business since 2007. He served as Bentley’s senior vice president of international operations from 2000 to 2007, and his prior roles include president, Bentley Asia/Pacific (1998-2000), and vice president of sales for Bentley Europe, Middle East, and Africa (1994-1997). Prior to joining Bentley, Ted spent 13 years at Intergraph Europe. He holds a degree in geodetic engineering from the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands and several post-graduate diplomas in computer engineering and development.

Jean-Baptiste "JB" Monnier, Ph.D.

Senior Vice President, Bentley Asia Operations

Jean-Baptiste has served as Bentley’s senior vice president of Asia Operations since 2005. From 2001 to 2005, he led Bentley Plant Sales for the international operating unit from Paris, France. Jean-Baptiste joined Bentley headquarters in 1994 as vice president of corporate marketing and was later appointed to manage the geoengineering (geospatial and civil) software division. Prior to joining Bentley, he headed an engineering department at DUMEZ, an international EPC, now part of Vinci, the largest construction company in the world. Earlier he managed a research laboratory at the French National Research Agency (CRNS) in solar energy thermodynamics. Jean-Baptiste holds a Ph.D. from IIT, the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, an MS degree from INSA in Lyon, France, and an executive MBA from HEC in Paris.

George Church

Senior Vice President, User Advantage

George joined Bentley in 1986. Prior to assuming responsibility for LEARNservices, he held various executive positions at Bentley including senior vice president, Global Professional Services; senior vice president responsible for managing Bentley’s business in Greater China; senior vice president responsible for The Viecon Network; senior vice president, strategic planning; and president of WorkPlace System Solutions, the Bentley strategic affiliate that developed ProjectWise. Prior to joining Bentley, George spent seven years in various management positions at Intergraph Corporation, Intergraph Europe, and Intergraph Canada. He has a bachelor of commerce degree from the University of Calgary and an M.B.A. from Duke University, Fuqua School of Business.
