Bentley Training Partner GeoStruXer combines software training, geotechnical expertise, and structural engineering knowledge to help engineers solve real-world infrastructure challenges.

Bahrain-based GeoStruXer combines geotechnical and structural engineering expertise to support infrastructure professionals across the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, and Canada. As a Bentley training partner, GeoStruXer helps engineers strengthen both software proficiency and the engineering judgment need to apply digital infrastructure tools effectively.

The Challenge: Bridging the Gap Between Software Skills and Engineering Expertise

In his journey from site investigation to consultancy, GeoStruXer’s founder, Hamzah Al-Hashemi, witnessed a recurring challenge in the industry. Many young engineers are skilled in using advanced software but may lack the deep theoretical understanding to interpret the results effectively. Conversely, seasoned professionals possess decades of practical wisdom and engineering judgment but are often unfamiliar with the latest digital tools.

“There is a clear gap,” Al-Hashemi noted. “One-size-fits-all training doesn’t work. To solve today’s complex challenges, you must bridge the gap between technical knowledge and the ‘know-how’ of engineering practice.” GeoStruXer saw an opportunity to create a new kind of training program—one that was flexible, customized, and focused on enabling engineers, not just training them on software.

How Bentley Helped GeoStruXer Expand their training Reach

The partnership with Bentley proved to be the catalyst for GeoStruXer, transforming their vision into a global reality. Through the Bentley Training Partner program and the Bentley Ecosystem Catalog, GeoStruXer gained an unparalleled platform and the necessary flexibility to engage a diverse, worldwide engineering audience.

Enabling Global Impact

In this Partner Spotlight, a man with short dark hair, black glasses, and a trimmed beard wears a light gray blazer over a white shirt against a plain light gray background, representing GeoStruXer.

Bentley has been far more than a software provider to us; it has been a genuine enabler of visibility, credibility, and meaningful engagement with the engineering community. Through its global user base, advanced digital tools, and trusted platforms, Bentley has played a valuable role in supporting GeoStruXer’s journey and strengthening our ability to connect directly with users and deliver greater impact.

By leveraging Bentley Training Partner authorization, GeoStruXer can now offer its specialized training in applications like RAM Concept, PLAXIS 2D, and PLAXIS 3D to infrastructure professionals. In less than a year since becoming a partner, they have successfully trained over 100 professionals globally and are already receiving inquiries for bespoke training programs tailored to specific project needs. For instance, they recently collaborated with a firm in the United Arab Emirates, providing advanced PLAXIS training to a highly experienced piling designer looking to upskill, ultimately empowering the firm to deliver designs that are both uncompromisingly safe and economically efficient.

Advancing Sustainable Infrastructure Through Training and Collaboration

GeoStruXer’s profound commitment to innovation and sustainable solutions has garnered significant industry recognition, most notably with the prestigious Bentley Envision Award for Sustainable Infrastructure at the 2025 Year in Infrastructure and Going Digital Awards event. This remarkable achievement for a startup, founded in late 2023, underscores their pioneering project, Seismic Rehabilitation of Creeping Ground using Sustainable Micropiled PTRaft in Saudi Arabia, which was celebrated for its exceptional environmental and social impact, far surpassing mere technical excellence.
