Design, Build, and Operate Sustainable Maritime Infrastructure
The Port of Townsville, located within the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage area, has been implementing real-time monitoring technology in several environmental monitoring programs, including weather and water quality. The challenge was finding a way to best communicate real-time data to key stakeholders, as well as managing different stakeholder interests, the most important among them being environmental protection.
They identified the single, web-based platform where their real-time data could live and give them the ability to do data validation, as well as complex calculations, without involving internal IT departments or external consultants, and be able to make it publicly available on a dashboard.
- Discover how they save hours of time by not having to manually collate data and upload graphs to the port’s website
- Learn how they improved safety by providing real-time wind speed and direction data to the marine pilots of the 600 vessels that come into the port each year
- Find out how they increased visibility and transparency of data to the community including 19 unique parameters from 15 data sources.
The Power of an Infrastructure Digital Twin
Behind every infrastructure project and every physical asset is data waiting to be unlocked, unleashed, and illuminated, resulting in insights into infrastructure intelligence.
From connecting critical information and workflows across the infrastructure lifecycle to leveraging artificial intelligence-driven insights, infrastructure intelligence is how you can build a more sustainable and resilient future.
