MCC Capital Engineering & Research Incorporation Limited

Steel plants rely on huge amounts of water, and lowering consumption can be difficult. During the renovation of the Taihang Steel plant, the owners wanted to overhaul their system to recycle all industrial wastewater, resulting in zero water discharge. MMC Capital Engineering & Research Incorporation created a digital version of the plant, which helped them quickly realize a green, intelligent water treatment facility. The design reduces the amount of wastewater discharge by 9.85 million cubic meters annually and the annual production of 27 million cubic meters of new water, all while reducing energy consumption.
