Water

Plan, design, build, and operate resilient water infrastructure for a sustainable future.

OVERVIEW

Connected data for resilient water systems

Bentley helps teams plan, design, build, and operate water supply, wastewater, stormwater, dams, and river networks with connected data to ensure resilient, compliant, and sustainable water infrastructure.
  • Plan & design resilient water infrastructure

Engineer reliable water and sewer networks, design sustainable treatment plants, and ensure climate resilience across storm and river systems by unifying CAD, GIS, 3D design, and simulation workflows.

  • Streamline construction & project delivery

Mitigate risk, avoid costly rework, and efficiently build critical infrastructure, from treatment plants to extensive water, sewer, and storm networks, using collaborative project delivery software.

  • Improve water operations and maintenance

Maximize treatment plant reliability, reduce non-revenue water, and ensure safe sewer and dam operations by breaking down data silos with digital twins and AI analytics.

Yes, our OpenFlows portfolio is fully compatible and interoperable with Esri’s ArcGIS platform. You can build, manage, and analyze hydraulic models directly within the ArcGIS environment, leveraging your existing GIS data and workflows to streamline the process of planning and designing water, wastewater, and stormwater systems.

For water distribution modeling, OpenFlows Water is our premier solution. It helps you analyze, design, and optimize your water systems, from fire flow and water quality simulations to pump scheduling and pipe renewal planning.

For sewer system analysis, OpenFlows Sewer is the leading choice. It allows you to plan for future capacity, mitigate sanitary sewer overflows (SSOs), and analyze the effects of inflow and infiltration (I&I). It provides a comprehensive toolset for managing both sanitary and combined sewer systems to ensure regulatory compliance.

For 3D multi-disciplinary plant design, you would use OpenPlant. During construction, Bentley Infrastructure Cloud (ProjectWise and SYNCHRO 4D) manages project delivery and 4D scheduling. Once operational, you can leverage the iTwin platform alongside our asset performance solutions to create a digital twin that maximizes plant reliability and equipment health.

For comprehensive flood modeling, OpenFlows FLOOD is the ideal solution. It is a complete modeling suite that can simulate rainfall, urban drainage, river flooding, and coastal storm surge in a single, integrated environment. This allows you to accurately assess flood risks from multiple sources and design effective climate resilience strategies.

Yes. For geotechnical analysis of dams and levees, our Seequent portfolio (Leapfrog Works) is the industry standard. For operational safety, our iTwin IoT, iTwinCapture and monitoring solutions provide real-time data and insights into the structural health and performance of your dams.
