On road, bridge, and tunnel projects, field records, lab results, and reporting templates are often scattered across spreadsheets and legacy databases, making it difficult to assemble a consistent picture of the ground. This session shows how OpenGround can manage borehole logs, test results, and laboratory data for transport projects in a centralized database that supports downstream modeling and design. We will also cover migration paths for organizations with existing gINT databases, focusing on how to move current projects into OpenGround without disrupting project workflows.

What you will learn: How OpenGround supports new integrated lab capabilities and investigation data management. How to transition from gINT to OpenGround while maintaining reporting confidence. How to structure borehole locations, strata intervals, and SPT/CPT results so they are ready for subsurface modeling. How to bring triaxial, oedometer, and UCS test data into OpenGround to support derivation of shear strength and stiffness parameters.
