What’s the difference between providing a person and delivering an outcome? For Ivan Tang, director of Bimeco, that isn’t a philosophical question. It redefined how the company delivers outcome driven BIM and digital delivery services.

This approach was put to the test on a major infrastructure project in Singapore. A main contractor needed to implement a complex set of Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) requirements, including 4D scheduling, model coordination, and subcontractor management. There was also an explicit data requirement to work with the IFC+SG format, in alignment with Singapore’s direction for OpenBIM adoption via CORENET X. This alignment with Singapore’s CORENET X initiative reinforces the industry shift toward open, standards-based BIM delivery.
