Anne-Marie Walters
Bentley Systems Global Marketing Director
Anne-Marie Walters joined Bentley in 2004 as a global marketing director. In this capacity she is responsible for the marketing and positioning of Bentley’s solutions and products that address the needs of the industrial sector including oil & gas, process & discrete manufacturing, and mining industries.
Ms. Walters, who is a chartered chemical engineer, has represented Bentley on the board of the Construction Industry Institute and is also heavily engaged in the activities of FIATECH. She sat on the board of the Engineering Contractors and Constructors Association between 2005 and 2010 and was the Chair in 2009. In addition, she is a founding member of the Process Industries STEP Consortium (PISTEP) committee and has served on the boards of CIMsteel and the United Kingdom’s chapter of the International Alliance for Interoperability (IAI). She is frequently a guest speaker at industry events sponsored by these and other organizations.
Marie Telepneff
Senior Product Marketing Manager
Marie Telepneff is a senior product marketing manager with Bentley Systems, responsible for building/structural, plant/electrical, and water/wastewater demand generation campaigns and program delivery within the design modeling advancement unit. She previously worked in marketing and communications with ABB and Aspen Technology where she gained a background in plant design and engineering. Telepneff holds a master’s degree in marketing management from Heriot Watt University and UC Berkeley.
Ken B. Adamson
Vice President | Building, Electrical, Plant and Structural Detailing
Ken Adamson is responsible for all aspects of the building, electrical, plant and structural detailing products from conceptual design through detailed design and into lifecycle operations. He recently returned from Beijing, China, where he was based for three years helping to identify new opportunities and expand on Bentley’s design modeling set of applications to meet the specific needs for the Chinese market.
Adamson has over 25 years’ experience in the development of software applications for infrastructure industries. Prior to joining Bentley Systems in 2004, he worked for Aspen Technology, Inc. Adamson has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Liverpool, England.
Carsten Gerke
VP Professional Services
Carsten Gerke joined Bentley Systems in January 1995 as a sales account manager before being named as sales director for DACH (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). He was later named senior sales director for Bentley Plant in Europe, before becoming global director of professional services for Bentley Plant.
Prior to joining Bentley, Gerke held sales, marketing, and finance positions with Kunkel CAD/CAE Systeme. He earned a degree in executive education, leading professional service firms, from Harvard University, and a master’s degree in mathematics, economics, and computing from Universitat Karlsruhe (TH).
John Sanins
Director, Strategic Channels
John Sanins is director, strategic channels responsible for global business development supporting Bentley’s strategic alliance with Siemens.
He has worked for Bentley for nine years and his prior experience includes technical director, global business development, at Intergraph; head of plant design products, at AVEVA; and senior business consultant, at IBM Global Services.
Sanins holds a master’s degree in business administration and an honour’s degree in mechanical engineering.
