Introducing OpenRail Overhead Line Designer

OpenRail Overhead Line Designer is a new product jointly developed by Bentley and Siemens, combining OpenRail technology with SICAT Master. This new application enables you to create 3D models of overhead line catenary systems, advancing workflows beyond traditional plan production into the development of digital twins with asset information for the entire lifecycle.

Automate project deliverables with OpenRail Overhead Line Designer

Implementing digital twins and automation technology significantly decreases production time of construction deliverables. You can design plan layouts, reports, cross-section deliverables to Level of Development 400 standards, and detailed structural erection diagrams.

Expanded production of digital deliverables

With OpenRail, you can leverage the digital DNA in engineering digital twins to help advance BIM while also creating traditional and model-based design deliverables. With the new Asset Manager capability, you can now include component attribution to develop a more efficient, data-rich BIM deliverable and export digital deliverables, including IFC, to support BIM workflows. You can also publish iModels for iTwin Design Review and iTwin Services.
