    Greg Bentley joined his four brothers at Bentley Systems in 1991. Previously, he founded a financial trading software firm, which became part of SunGard Data Systems, Inc., an S&P 500 company, serving on its board from 1991 through 2005.

    Greg Bentley holds an M.B.A. in finance and decision sciences from Wharton. He is a trustee of Drexel University, where he also serves as chairman of the advisory board for the Pennoni Honors College, and is a trustee of the National Building Museum.

    Keith Bentley

    Keith Bentley is a founder and chief technology officer of Bentley Systems. He is the principal architect of the company’s technology directions, and has served as a director and an executive officer since Bentley’s inception. 

    Keith Bentley served as company’s president until 1995 and CEO until 2000. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Delaware and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Florida.

    Nicholas Cumins

    Nicholas Cumins is chief operating officer at Bentley Systems. He is responsible for product development, go-to-market, and operations. He has over 20 years of leadership experience with established and startup companies in multiple software industries.

    Prior to joining Bentley as chief product officer in 2020, Nicholas served as general manager of SAP Marketing Cloud, a comprehensive marketing automation platform. He also served as chief product officer of Scytl, a platform for online voting, in Barcelona, and senior vice president of product with OpenX, a pioneer in programmatic advertising, in Los Angeles. Before OpenX, Nicholas had already served in a variety of senior roles at SAP, including product management, corporate strategy, and business development in the United States, Germany, and France. He earned master’s degrees in law and in business from Paris II Panthéon-Assas University.

    Geraint Burrows

    Groundwater Relief

    Geraint Borrows is a hydrogeologist and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) engineer. He started his career as an exploration geologist before moving into the humanitarian sector working for International Rescue Committee, Médecins Sans Frontières and Oxfam.

    He obtained a 1st class MSc in hydrogeology from Birmingham University and went on to work for the UK Environment Agency as a hydrogeologist. In 2012 Geraint founded Groundwater Relief in order to link groundwater expertise from within the private, public and academic sectors to the aid and development sectors. Since 2016 he has been working full time as Groundwater Relief’s Chief Executive Officer. Geraint has experience developing and managing small to large scale groundwater supply projects all over Africa and Asia.

    Dr. Andrius Jurelionis

    Kaunas University of Technology

    Andrius Jurelionis has 20 year experience in academia, focusing on indoor environmental quality, energy performance, sustainable management of built assets, as well as methodologies for engineering education. 

    His recent focus is on university-business partnerships and joint innovation, especially linked to the digitalization of construction, digital twins and life cycle approach.

    Smart DCU Projects Facilitator
    Dublin City University

    Kieran Mahon is the Smart DCU Projects Facilitator with Smart DCU, an initiative of Dublin City University (DCU) and Smart Dublin. responsible for deployment of Smart City testbeds on the university’s campuses under the umbrella of the overall Smart Dublin initiative.

    Previously he worked at Vodafone where he pioneered the use of artificial intelligence and the development of predictive analytics. Before that Kieran was the technical director of the Irish Government’s ‘Program in Advanced Technology’ for Multimedia.

    Nabil Abou-Rahme

    Dr Nabil Abou-Rahme heads up Bentley Research, with a ‘Horizon 3’ portfolio covering foresight, research partnerships, co-innovation projects, and prototype incubation.

    Dr Abou-Rahme joined Bentley in 2019 from the global consultancy firm Mott MacDonald, where he was head of smart infrastructure and global practice leader for data science, focusing on digital transformation. Abou-Rahme is a Chartered Engineer with nearly 30 years experience, holding a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Imperial College London, a master’s degree in intelligent transport systems from University College London, and a doctorate from the University of Southampton.

    David Armstrong

    David Armstrong is Director, Advisory Services for Cohesive, a wholly owned, independently operated, digital integrator business unit of Bentley Systems.

    For over 25 years, he has helped asset owner-operators to achieve significant results in the areas of operational and reliability excellence, investments and engineer-procure-construct, enterprise configuration management, and asset performance management. David holds a Master’s Certification in Enterprise Configuration Management from the University of Phoenix.

    Mark Bew is the CEO of Cohesive, a wholly owned, independently operated, digital integrator business unit of Bentley Systems.

    He has led the development of the business through a chain of Bentley Systems investment acquisitions to create a new Systems Integrator focused on delivering high performing outcomes to owner-operators and the supply chain, using industry leading applications and leading-edge Bentley iTwin technologies. Over the last forty years Mark has developed a proven track record of delivering successful people, process and technology driven business change programmes within the Engineering and Construction sector. Mark is a Chartered Engineer with a Ph.D. in the digital prediction of social outcomes through the built environment.

    Mike Campbell

    Michael Campbell is the chief product officer at Bentley. He joined Bentley in 2022, having previously worked for PTC Inc.

    He is responsible for defining Bentley’s product strategy and for managing product development to advance the company’s leadership in infrastructure engineering software. Prior to Bentley, Michael has held various positions, managing product development, product strategies, and entire software businesses. He holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Boston University.

    Santanu Das is the chief acceleration officer at Bentley Systems, where he manages the corporate strategy for acquisitions, investments, and new startup businesses.

    He joined Bentley in 2005 after the acquisition of Research Engineers. His prior roles at Bentley include senior vice president of design integration, vice president of design and simulation, and vice president of structural and building. Santanu earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Southern California and a master’s degree in civil engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

    Rodrigo Fernandes

    Rodrigo Fernandes is director of ES(D)G (Empowering Sustainable Development Goals) at Bentley Systems, leading the company’s sustainability initiatives.

    Rodrigo advocates for a culture of sustainability, empowers sustainable development goals through Bentley software and services, and evangelizes Bentley’s environmental handprint. Rodrigo is also European Climate Pact Ambassador and serves as an external expert for the European Commission and the Portuguese Ministry of the Sea (DGPM).

    Previously at Bentley, Rodrigo worked as a senior consultant and project manager on the Water Infrastructure Team, and then as business development / environmental industry expert for the Acceleration Team and Digital Cities. He joined Bentley in 2017 with the acquisition of Action Modulers’ Water Business Unit, and before that, he was a Researcher in Marine, Environment & Technology Center (MARETEC), University of Lisbon. He has a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering and has designed and managed over 20 European innovation projects on modeling water resources and environmental safety issues.

    Jo Knight strategically leads multi-discipline, regional and global teams to design and deliver the best experience across every touchpoint of the customer journey. 

    She has over 20 years of experience in marketing, sales and consulting for both the public and private sectors, including the global organisations in the FTSE and NASDAQ. A passionate advocate for equality and diversity, Jo co-founded Seequent’s thriving Women’s Leadership Circle in 2020, now with over 200 members and counting. Jo attained a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business with French and German from Aston University, Birmingham, UK and volunteers as a mentor for various initiatives (UK).

    Katriona Lord-Levins is chief success officer and SVP at Bentley. She is responsible for leading the user success team, which strives to meet the business needs of users, build loyalty, and make Bentley their solution of choice. 

    Before joining Bentley, Kat worked for two decades at Autodesk in several roles, including, most recently, focusing on building and leading the construction business unit customer success team. Prior to Autodesk Kat worked at Alias Research in Toronto, a software company that produced high-end 3D graphics software. Kat earned a degree in computer science from the University of Toronto.

    Julien Moutte

    Julien Moutte joined Bentley Systems in 2021 as vice president for technology in the product advancement group. 

    Prior to that, he served at SAP as head of architecture and technology for the marketing cloud, where he was responsible for the transformation of the company’s software into a true cloud service. Moutte also founded multiple software companies and consulted for several other technology companies as CTO or CEO. He is an active contributor to the open source community and a passionate software engineer. Moutte is based in Barcelona, Spain.

    David Robertson

    David Robertson joined Bentley in 1994 following the company’s acquisition of Opti Interconsult, where he served as vice president, focusing on document and asset management. 

    David leads University partnerships within Bentley’s Research group. Previous roles include leadership of the Bentley product development team for ProjectWise in Finland, and other technology leaderships for substation design and facility management. More recently David spearheaded Bentley’s Global Academy program partnering with Industry and Academia for major projects in London, Houston, Dubai, and Pune, India. David holds a bachelor’s degree and post graduate diploma from the Oxford School of Architecture and is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects in the UK.

Greg Bentley joined his four brothers at Bentley Systems in 1991. Previously, he founded a financial trading software firm, which became part of SunGard Data Systems, Inc., an S&P 500 company, serving on its board from 1991 through 2005. 

Bentley holds an M.B.A. in finance and decision sciences from Wharton. He is a trustee of Drexel University, where he also serves as chairman of the advisory board for the Pennoni Honors College, and is a trustee of the National Building Museum.
