With Bentley’s new OpenFlows WaterOPS solution, you can test variations in operational strategy, tactics, and emergency protocols quickly and in a risk-free way. The application lets you identify safe, effective options to address pipe bursts, power outages, fires, and other urgent events.

Control pressure

OpenFlows WaterOPS lets you use a hydraulic network model to automatically and accurately determine real-time pressures throughout the network, even for non-monitored locations. Now, you can predict service levels to identify areas with excessively high or low pressures and assess ways for adjusting pumps and regulating valves to balance pressures without disrupting service.

Evaluate water quality

With OpenFlows WaterOPS, apply real-time and predictive simulations of water quality characteristics throughout the pipe network and within tanks. The application lets you evaluate water age or constituent concentration (such as chlorine, contaminants, and total dissolved solids), even with multiple interacting species. Perform source tracing to determine the contribution of various water sources for any location in the system.

Add real-world digital context and visualization

OpenFlows FLOOD lets you assess flood risks for urban, riverine, and coastal systems with real-world digital context, using a 3D reality mesh from ContextCapture. Now, you can bring your simulation to life by generating realistic visualizations of flood events with LumenRT to help stakeholders understand the risks and impacts of flooding events, as well as the potential mitigation actions.

Simulate urban floods

Combine hydraulic models from OpenFlows SewerGEMS and OpenFlows FLOOD to simulate flooding in urban areas. By integrating these capabilities, you can fully evaluate the flow of water in the piped subsurface network and river and coastal systems, the surface flow, and the exchange of water between all those systems.
