The City of Henderson needed a new water reclamation facility to handle the increasing wastewater and reclaimed water distribution needs in southwest Henderson, Nevada. The new 20-acre Southwest Water Reclamation Facility (SWRF), enables the City to treat up to 8 million gallons of wastewater per day, and provide high-quality, recycled water to local customers To efficiently manage the project construction, Carrollo Engineers needed to facilitate construction project management with team members across the country and internationally.
Carollo Engineers used EADOC to coordinate the entire project team and client stakeholders. EADOC provided a centralized, networked environment for everything, from basic day-to-day activities to important details on infrastructure design. The EADOC system recorded all actions performed on documents and communications, allowing Carollo Engineers to keep the entire project team on track.
Using EADOC, the project team was able to increase the speed of communications with team members across the country, and internationally. Centralizing the project’s data and communication increased collaboration among dispersed team members, and reduced the need for duplicate data entry. The entire SWRF team saved time by submitting documents electronically, and by eliminating the need for duplicate data entry.
Carollo Engineers used EADOC capital project management system for its centralized database, with 24/7 access to manage all project documents and communications including RFIs, submittals, inspection requests, inspection reports, requests, daily logs, memos, change orders, and more.
