Walski joined Bentley in 2003 as a senior advisory product manager and brought with him more than 25 years experience in applying hydraulic analysis to solving real-world design and operation problems in water and wastewater systems.
As part of the management team, he is responsible for the development of the Haestad Water Resource Modeling software products. Walski came to Bentley from Haestad Methods, where he was vice president of engineering. Throughout his career, he served as an engineer for several organizations including Curran Associates, Inc., the US Army Corps of Engineers, Water and Wastewater Utilities in Austin, Texas, and the Pennsylvania American Water Company.
Walski was once the executive director for Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority and taught hydraulic courses as an associate professor of environmental engineering at Wilkes University. Walski holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a master’s degree and doctorate in environmental and water resources engineering from Vanderbilt University. He is frequently published in magazines and professional journals. Walski was lead author of two books: Advanced Water Distribution Modeling and Management and Wastewater Collection System Modeling and Design, and has contributed content to scores of other books and publications.
