Ray is a senior engineering consultant who has worked for Bentley since 2000. A GEOPAK expert, he is responsible for providing technical support, onsite training, consulting services, and software certification. Ray has trained and implemented civil engineering applications for a variety of government agencies and departments of transportation, including departments in Tennessee, Minnesota, Michigan, Nebraska, Florida, and Virginia.
Prior to Bentley, he worked for ModernTech as a civil applications engineer. Ray was previously a design engineer for Bayland Consultants & Designers. He performed environmental studies where coastline erosion occurred and designed plans for beach replenishment and shoreline stabilization. Ray also was a project manager for Maryland Environmental Services, with duties related to the design, construction, and operation of multimillion municipal projects including regional landfills, water treatment plants, waste depots, and recycling facilities. Ray graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
