High Performance, Superior Quality Publishing
Geo Web Publisher was designed to optimize performance when publishing vector or raster information. Web-optimized vector publishing is achieved through pre-publishing to a web-optimized format (iDPR). The iDPR desktop manages prepublishing updates behind the scenes so that fresh information is available as needed for end users. The iDPR converter is integrated with the Geospatial Server and ProjectWise so that organizations that choose to deploy these can take advantage of the versioning capabilities to notify iDPR desktop when updates have been made. Raster performance is achieved via a high performance Image Server that supports tiling, overview, and streaming functionality. Geo Web Publisher ensures high fidelity publishing of DGN and DWG data. A faithful representation of the information through the publisher is produced in which the original presentation quality is preserved. Geo Web Publisher provides a Map Author that allows administrators and power users to define maps, which are a collection of layers for which properties such as display order can be defined. Layers can be prepublished or dynamic.
