Television Sierre has owned and managed an HFC network in the region of Sierre since 1968.
Since the beginning of this period, the company has provided network TV and radio channels. In 1998, it introduced Internet access. Since June 2006, it also began to offer fixed landline telephony. The Triple Play is already a reality on the HFC network.
Sierre Energie needed clear geographical data and drawings to hand out to field technicians to support network build. They also needed access to the underlying data in order to integrate it with the service provisioning/activation system of active elements.
Sierre Energie says it chose Bentley products because they form a powerful information system. They are tightly integrated in all phases of the project rollout.
