The Army is currently undergoing a transformation to meet global changes. In 2006, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) joined Bentley’s Enterprise License Subscription (ELS) program to ensure a consistent and simplified supply chain for Bentley software, training, and implementation support for its 35,000 employees.

To provide the infrastructure necessary for this change, the USACE is deploying BIM and ProjectWise for both its military and civil works missions. Bentley Institute training and implementation support have been vital in the success of the deployment of these technologies within the USACE. In 2006, USACE conducted nearly 8,000 hours of training on 749 unique classes.
