In accordance with the Danish Government's new initiative “Digital Construction,” all public building projects from the January 2007 are mandated to meet a series of ICT requirements. All building and construction firms must fulfill these requirements in order to participate in the bidding, design, and construction processes for projects in the public realm. Requirements include:
- How has the construction industry prepared itself?
- How have the software houses responded with their support?
- How have these new requirements affected the design and building process, as it is traditionally known?
