The new building being designed for Aller, one of Denmark's largest media companies, is situated on the Copenhagen harbor. It is comprised of 18,000 square meters that is distributed over eight floors with more than 600 workplaces. The design is a composition of movements with slightly curved, dynamic facades to create tension against the static quay.
Bentley’s BIM solutions continuously checked the accuracy of the complex building design geometry. All of the main drawings were extracted from these 3D models, making corrections much easier to control. Using the new Danish data set significantly facilitated adherence to the Danish national CAD standards, and the 3D visualization dynamically communicated the design to all parties.
