Proven on projects across Australia, South Africa, Chile, and Canada, the Hatch WorkSMART Data-Centric Environment has become a corporate standard for data-centric project execution. It is currently in use on 10 major Hatch EPCM projects across four continents. Data generated from the workSMART environment is used in MicroStation, Bentley Navigator, and an in-house commissioning control system to provide constructors with accurate information.

Since the database provides access control, data is secure and centralized. The design data is linked to other data sources, enhancing stability and permitting further development of the environment. The integration of the project data and the engineering workflows has radically changed the way Hatch looks at project data, and is rapidly changing the historical methodologies that its engineers have traditionally used.
