Model in a familiar CAD or GIS platform and leverage external data

Bentley’s hydraulics and hydrology software offers multi-platform support with no platform restriction. A single product can be run from within up to 4 different platforms, including MicroStation, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, PowerCivil, and stand-alone.

This means that engineers can run their hydraulics and hydrology model directly within a platform they’re familiar with, as well as leverage a CAD or GIS environment while modeling. Consequently, users can run their water models more productively.

For managers at consulting firms involved with land development projects, multi-platform means that results can be delivered in their clients’ preferred formats, increasing project flexibility.

Software tools for team productivity, include:

• Leveraging external GIS, CAD, and SCADA data:
  The ModelBuilder module will help users manage updates of both the water model and the original source data. The Network Navigator feature will help modelers identify and fix any network topological and connectivity issues resulting from inconsistent source data.
  
  
• Support to run from within up to 4 platforms:
  Bentley’s water products are the only products on the market that can be run stand-alone or directly from within up to four interoperable platforms: ArcGIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and PowerCivil. This gives users the ability to leverage any CAD or GIS tools of the platform they run the hydraulic model in.
