Information systems support an increasingly distributed population of people who collaborate on their work. There are several components to successful deployment of any enterprise-wide solution: the system infrastructure, the applications, the people using it, and the team responsible for coaching, motivating and managing implementation. Everyone understands the first three - let's talk about the team that manages implementation: how that team views its charter, how it executes against that charter, and where they can expect problems.
