10:00-10:30 am: Registration and coffee

10:30-10:45 am: Introduction
You will be introduced to the agenda of the day by Bentley Italy's key personnel.

10:45-11:15 am: Integrated modeling approach for quantifying and detecting water losses **
A Bentley engineer will discuss how one of our user reduced unaccounted-for-water using optimization modeling techniques.

11:15 am-12:00 pm: Design & rehabilitation of water distribution networks aimed at reducing pipe flow losses
Prof. Todini will discuss how design of new networks, but most of all, rehabilitation of existing networks must aim at reducing these losses.

12:00-12:45 pm: How to apply these new techniques with Bentley's Haestad Methods Solutions 
Bentley engineers will show how specific features of the new WaterCAD and WaterGEMS V8 can be used to find and reduce water losses.

12:45-2:00 pm: Buffet

2:00-2:30 pm: The importance of working with interoperable solutions  
Whatever type of modeling you do or plan to do, we will discuss how important it is not to underestimate the time and cost savings you will benefit from using fully interoperable solutions that work in several interchangeable platforms.

2:30-3:00 pm: Presentation of other Bentley water resource modeling solutions
Whether you also conduct water hammer analysis to protect your water networks, or model sanitary and combined sewer networks, Bentley's Haestad Methods solutions can help you. These solutions include world-renowned HAMMER, SewerCAD, and SewerGEMS. 

3:00-4:00 pm: Open discussion & reception 
Enjoy food and mingle with your peers as well as with the presenters of the day. Bentley's personel will be handing out your free Advanced Water Distribution Modeling and Management book on CD before you leave.

* The seminar will be conducted in Italian.

** This presentation will be based on a technical paper written by Bentley's Zheng Wu and United Utilities PLC's Paul Sage.
