Rick is a senior consultant and certified instructor for the Bentley Institute. He provides technical support and training for Bentley software, including MicroStation and ProjectWise. As a Bentley certified instructor, Rick develops and delivers user-specific training and generates customized tools and workspaces. Since 1994, he has taught MicroStation courses at several state departments of transportation, including in Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, Iowa, Wisconsin, as well as at the Nebraska Department of Roads.
Prior to working at Bentley, Rick was a senior analysis and application engineer for the Itasca Group, and Graphic Ideas. He provided a variety of professional services such as performing onsite ProjectWise installations, maintaining Digital InterPlot installations, documenting customers’ workflow, and provided technical support for MicroStation. Rick served in the United States Navy, where he achieved the rank of second class petty officer.
