Knowledge Manager quickly mines MicroStation DGN and AutoCAD DWG files for evaluation. Tag numbers are automatically recognized and written to the project database. The data mining process is done without any labor other than that required for the initial setup. After the initial extraction of data, the files are periodically re-scanned for changes and the database is updated.
