Standard 2D AutoCAD drawings of different views (such as front of the building, second floor) can be generated from AutoPLANT Structural Engineering's Detail Center. This is done automatically from the 3D model based on a variety of pre-defined detail-styles that conform to industry standards. Export options from Structural Engineering include overview, G.A., or stick line drawings.
Structural Engineering's Detail Center also keeps track of when drawings are generated and if they are up to date. A quick analysis provides information on which drawings need to be updated due to modifications of the model. This automates the task of determining which drawings need to be updated to reflect a given design change, and reduces the chance that drawings are issued in error.
