Summary:

Learn about the design of the 360,000-square-foot Salt Lake Real Soccer Stadium – West Building. The stadium was set on a fast-track design schedule due to the lengthy lead time required to fabricate the steel shapes for the building framing. To begin construction in June 2007, the large W14 shapes required for the stadium needed to be submitted to the steel fabricator by early December 2006. Using RAM Structural System, DXF interfacing, and close communication within the design team, the Salt Lake Real Soccer Stadium was designed within the time constraints imposed on the design team.

Recorded during Be Conference 2007
