Elementary Electrical Diagrams (EED) combines the power of MicroStation with Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) support in a single product optimized for design, data capture and technical documentation of electrical control and power systems. EED produces many types of documentation, including not only schematic diagrams, elementary diagrams, control schematics, ladder diagrams and schematic wiring diagrams, but also bills of material, wire schedules, component schedules and more.
You can create intelligent electrical schematic objects containing design data about electrical components, circuits, connections and design sheets. Components and wires contain intelligent attribute information such as name, part number and wire number. The electrical objects are also associative, which ensures design integrity when components and connections are moved.
EED recognizes electrical relationships such as electrical connections and group or item designations. The associability of EED ensures that modifications such as moving components or changing connections are correct by design. Both attribute placement and graphic symbols are controlled by EED, ensuring consistent drawings every time.
