Design++ provides a design rule system
Design++ provides a design rule system for capturing design knowledge. A design rule is an expression for calculating a value for a single attribute. Attribute values are calculated as-needed, and the rule calculation order is determined automatically. Design++ uses a dependency network to keep attribute values consistent as user interacts with libraries and models. Design rules can be defined and modified "on the fly" and immediately incorporated into a model. No lengthy compile/link/execute process is needed.
