Oeltjen joined Bentley in 2002 where he is a senior engineering consultant who provides training for GEOPAK and MicroStation. He has been using, training, and supporting GEOPAK applications since 1995. At Bentley, Oeltjen’s responsibilities include writing GEOPAK cross section and modeling criteria for state agencies, providing support and services for GEOPAK, and providing training for Bentley’s civil applications. He has trained a variety of government agencies and departments of transportation, including departments in Missouri, Virginia, Minnesota, and North Carolina.
Prior to Bentley, Oeltjen worked for the Missouri Department of Transportation, where he held posts as senior CADD applications specialist and senior highway designer. As a senior CADD application specialist, he trained and supported users in GEOPAK, as well as assisted the implementation and training of MicroStation and GEOPAK.
