The Stone Towers business park planned for a 180,000-square-meter site in Cairo, Egypt, will combine world-class office facilities with retail stores, food and beverage facilities, and a five-star hotel. The towers comprise 550,000 square meters above ground and another 600,000 square meters below ground. Inspired by the patterns and textures of ancient Egyptian stonework, the tower facades will be covered with recesses and protrusions that capture the effects of light and shadow.

Runway 2L-20R Reconstruction

Nashville, Tennessee, United States

Garver’s Aviation Group helped Nashville International Airport reconstruct its oldest runway to enhance aircraft and passenger safety. Its work included the performance of analysis, geometric, and pavement design and development of construction documents for the portion of the project south of the crosswind runway. The $24 million project included the design of all new Portland cement concrete aircraft pavement, 35-foot-wide asphalt shoulders, airfield guidance signs, and runway guard lights.

Sitech Services provides infrastructure and asset management at the Chemelot industrial park in Geleen, Netherlands. More than 80 chemical companies occupy the 800-hectare campus, along with more than 30 chemical-related plants and installations that share facilities, including the fire brigade and power plant. Sitech’s asset management system saves costs and reduces incidents of asset damage.
