The countdown is underway!
As you read this message, Be Communities – the online network where you can share best practices, ideas, and content with other professionals in your field – is undergoing an upgrade. Soon you will be able to enjoy an improved Be Communities experience with more features, more customization, and more flexibility.
The new site includes:
- Improved content organization, centered around Communities rather than type of content
- Advanced search capabilities, making it easier to find what you are looking for
- Streamlined functions to post articles, upload files, etc.
- Control over your own experience, from page layout, to news feeds, to instant bookmarking and favorite places
- Hundreds of other interface and usability improvements
As part of this transition, the current content on Be Communities – including forums, blogs, communities, file and image areas, and the wiki – are being transferred to the new environment, which we expect to be available by the Monday evening, May 10 (Eastern Daylight Time). At this time, Be Communities is only accessible in read-only mode.
If you are joining us at Be Together Conference 2010, in Philadelphia on May 17-20, please stop and visit the Be Communities representatives in the Knowledge Resources Zone to learn more and share your own ideas with us.
