2009 Be Inspired Award Winners
The Be Inspired Awards program has recognized over 1,000 of the world’s most outstanding infrastructure projects since its 2004 inception as the Be Awards of Excellence. The projects nominated for the Be Inspired Awards come from Bentley’s users around the globe, and the winning projects are selected by a rigorous jury of independent experts in various fields of infrastructure.
All nominated projects are presented in the annual publication, The Year in Infrastructure. Through its project descriptions and imagery, we at Bentley proudly highlight the extraordinary nominees in the Be Inspired competition. With it, we celebrate outstanding achievements in infrastructure design, engineering, construction and operations across the globe, as well as the innovation in best practices among the infrastructure professionals who make these projects possible.
2009 Special Recognition Award Winners
A new category introduced in 2009 to the Be Inspired Awards competition was the Special Recognition Awards. Transcending multiple categories, these unique and visionary approaches to innovation were nominated by the jurors themselves as best exemplifying Bentley’s mission of Sustaining Infrastructure. The nominees were then reviewed by a panel comprised of Bentley CTO and founder Keith Bentley, CEO Greg Bentley, COO Malcolm Walter, SVP Bhupinder Singh, SVP Buddy Cleveland, and Jay McGraw, group publisher of McGraw-Hill Construction.
Congratulations to the 2009 Special Recognition winners!
