Jerry D. Flynn
A visualization specialist for Bentley, Flynn started working with 3D computer models in the mid 1980s and became involved with visualization in 1990. Flynn has also worked with Planning Research Corporation (PRC) at the Kennedy Space Center and at McDonnell Douglas Space Systems. During his time at McDonnell Douglas, Flynn won 14 Golden Mouse awards in InterGraph’s computer art competition and a Best in Application from Kodak during the 1991 Siggraph convention. Flynn’s graphic work has appeared on the covers of 16 MicroStation books. He created the covers for seven issues of MicroStation Manager and his photo-realistic images have made the covers of Road & Bridges, Computer Aided Engineering and Computer Graphics World magazines. Flynn is the author of “Rendering with MicroStation,” published by the Bentley Institute Press, as well as Bentley Institute courses “Animating with MicroStation” and “Rendering for Building Design.”
