Riley joined Bentley in 2000 and works as an application specialist with technical expertise in Bentley building solutions. He is responsible for providing training, consulting, and client demonstrations for the Bentley building suite of products. With more than 15 years experience using MicroStation in the field, Riley has produced designs for hotels, office buildings, aviation facilities, and educational institutions.
Prior to Bentley, he worked as a project technical specialist for Jacobs Facilities Incorporated and Sverdrup Facilities Incorporated, as well as a computer aided draftsman for Heery Architects & Engineers and Clark Tribble Harris & Li Architects. Using MicroStation, he modeled the intermediate standard design for an air traffic control tower, and with ProjectWise, created a data warehouse containing more than 30,000 drawings for the Federal Aviation Administration. Riley graduated from the Pittsburgh Technical Institute with an associate’s degree in specialized technology. He is the former chairman of the Washington Area MicroStation Community.
