Executive Roundtables for Geospatial

Government Roundtable

Using GIS and Engineering Information in the Field

This executive roundtable will focus on using GIS and engineering information in the field and will bring together a group of industry leaders focused on the challenges organizations face to fully deploy their GIS and engineering information throughout the asset lifecycle of designing, building, and maintaining their assets. The roundtable discussions will center on the key issues that are faced by government agencies, communications service providers, and electric, gas, and water utilities that have a disrupted digital dataflow in their overall workflow.

Water and Wastewater Roundtable

The GIS Asset Registry – Hydraulic Model Integration and Interoperability

Water and wastewater utilities are challenged to maintain regular data synchronization between the GIS that represents the single “source of truth” and the numerous and different hydraulic models that are created and maintained in support of rehabilitation, replacement, expansion, operational decision support, and environmental compliance. This executive roundtable will bring together industry practice leaders faced with integrating enterprise GIS-based asset management operations with the various hydraulic modeling workflows across the water or wastewater utility.

Utilities Roundtable

Multi-discipline Engineering for Electric Substations and Transmission

The executive roundtable will focus on the cross-disciplinary aspects of designing and maintaining electric substations and transmission infrastructure and will bring together a group of industry leaders to examine challenges and solutions related to these mission-critical assets for utilities.
