Greg Bentley
Chief Executive Officer 
Gregory S. Bentley has been CEO of Bentley Systems since 2000, president since 1995, and chairman of the board since 1994. When he joined his four founding brothers at Bentley Systems in 1991, the company had 35 colleagues.
Bentley now has more than 2400 colleagues and annual revenues surpassing $400 million, and was named the Technology Company of the Year by the Eastern Technology Council in 2005. The company’s comprehensive portfolio for the building, plant, civil, and geospatial verticals
spans architecture, engineering, construction (AEC) and operations. Bentley is the leading
provider of AEC software to the Engineering News-Record Top Design Firms and major owner-
operators.
Prior to 1991, Mr. Bentley founded and served as CEO of Devon Systems International, Inc.,
a provider of financial trading software. In 1987, that company was acquired by SunGard Data
Systems, Inc. He served as a director of SunGard, one of the world’s largest IT vendors, from
1991 until its $11-billion+ going-private transaction in 2005. Mr. Bentley earned a bachelor's
degree in Decision Sciences in 1976 and an M.B.A. in Finance in 1977 from the Wharton School,
University of Pennsylvania.

Keith A. Bentley
Chief Technology Officer and Director
Keith A. Bentley, chief technology officer, co-founded Bentley Systems in 1984 and has been a leader in the development of the company’s products ever since. Mr. Bentley was Bentley Systems’ CEO until 2000 and president until 1995, and has also served as a director and an executive officer since its inception. Mr. Bentley holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Delaware and a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida.

Barry J. Bentley, Ph.D.
Executive Vice President
and Director
Barry J. Bentley is one of Bentley Systems’ co-founders and has served as a director and an executive officer since the company’s inception in 1984. He is one of the originators of MicroStation and has been continuously involved in the planning and development of Bentley’s software products and technology. From 1984 to 1996, Dr. Bentley served as chairman of the board. His software development career dates back to 1979, when he co-founded and served as vice president of Dynamic Solutions Corporation, where he worked on products for data acquisition and analysis. Dr. Bentley holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Chemical
Engineering from the California Institute of Technology.

Raymond B. Bentley
Executive Vice President, Software Engineering
Raymond B. Bentley, one of the original developers of Bentley Systems, is the executive vice president of Software Engineering. Mr. Bentley was the lead developer for MicroStation and MicroStation Modeler and chief architect in the Core-Graphics group. Mr. Bentley earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1982 from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a master’s degree in Computer Engineering in 1986 from the University of Cincinnati.

Malcolm S. Walter
Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President
Malcolm S. Walter joined Bentley in 1999 and has served as COO and senior vice president since 2000. Mr. Walter has responsibility for Bentley’s global sales and marketing organizations. Prior to joining Bentley, Mr. Walter was CFO for R&B, Inc., a NASDAQ listed company and a worldwide distributor of automotive parts for aftermarket repair. Previously,
Mr. Walter held positions in finance and operations with several technology companies. He is a
C.P.A. and worked for Arthur Andersen for six years.

David Hollister
Chief Financial Officer
David Hollister joined Bentley in 2007 and is the company’s CFO. Prior to joining Bentley, Mr. Hollister was the CFO and a member of the board of directors for Broder Bros., Co., a $1 billion apparel distributor with publicly traded debt. During his five-year tenure, Mr. Hollister was instrumental in more than doubling the scale of the company’s business through raising capital, executing and integrating acquisitions, restructuring the distribution network, and growing the company’s private brands. Mr. Hollister also served as a director in the M&A Transaction Services practice at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, LLP, where he specialized in international transactions. He is a C.P.A. and earned an M.B.A. at the University of Michigan.
Bhupinder Singh
Senior Vice President, Bentley Software
Bhupinder Singh joined Bentley in 1994 and is the senior vice president of Bentley Software. Bentley Software is responsible for the strategic direction and management of all Bentley’s software products and development activities. Previously, Mr. Singh served in the sales organization as managing director for Bentley South Asia and prior to that role, he served as Bentley’s senior vice president of the Platform Products Group. Before joining Bentley, Mr. Singh held various software engineering positions at Montgomery Watson Hazra and Intergraph Corporation. He is a graduate in Civil Engineering with a B.Tech from I.I.T Delhi
and holds master’s degrees in Structural Engineering from Vanderbilt University and in
Computer Science from Rutgers University.
Alton B. (Buddy) Cleveland, Jr
Senior Vice President, Applied Research 
Alton B. (Buddy) Cleveland, Jr. is Bentley’s senior vice president of Applied Research. From 2000 through 2006, Mr. Cleveland held the role of senior vice president of Bentley Software. Prior to that role, he was the senior vice president of Bentley’s Model Engineering Business Group. Mr. Cleveland joined Bentley in December 1997 when Bentley acquired Jacobus Technology, which he founded and served as president from its inception in 1991 until 1999. Before founding Jacobus Technology, he enjoyed a 20-year career with Bechtel Corporation, where he last served as the manager of Automation Technology. Mr. Cleveland holds a bachelor's degree in Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and currently serves on the
advisory board for Hopkins’ Department of Civil Engineering.

David G. Nation
Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs, General Counsel and Secretary
David G. Nation has served as Bentley’s senior vice president of Corporate Affairs, general counsel and secretary since December 1995. In addition to his duties as Bentley's general counsel, Mr. Nation supervises Bentley's Human Resources Department and various business development activities. Prior to joining Bentley, Mr. Nation was senior vice president and general counsel of Continental Medical Systems, Inc., a New York Stock Exchange listed company. Prior to 1991, he was a partner at the law firm of Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP. Mr.
Nation holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Wharton School of the University of
Pennsylvania and a J.D. from Boston University School of Law.

John Riddle
Senior Vice President, North American Operations
John Riddle has served as Bentley’s senior vice president of North American Operations since 2000. Prior to joining Bentley, Mr. Riddle held vice president positions at Integic and Cabletron, where he led federal, Middle East, and mid-Atlantic sales and operations. Previously, Mr. Riddle worked for nearly 10 years at Intergraph Corporation, where he was director of Federal Sales. He graduated with a degree in Mathematics from the University of Oklahoma and was decorated for his service as an officer in the U.S. Army.

Ted Lamboo
Senior Vice President, Civil and Geospatial Global Operations
Ted Lamboo is Bentley's senior vice president of Civil and Geospatial Global Operations. From 2000 through 2007, Mr. Lamboo served as Bentley’s senior vice president of International Operations. From 1998 until 2000, Mr. Lamboo held the role of president, Bentley Asia/Pacific. From 1994 through 1997, Mr. Lamboo served as vice president of Sales for Bentley Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Previously, Mr. Lamboo served for 13 years at Intergraph Europe, the European headquarters of Intergraph Corporation. He holds a degree in Geodetic Engineering from the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands and several post-graduate diplomas in Computer Engineering and Development.

Jean-Baptiste Monnier Ph.D.
Senior Vice President, Bentley Asia Operations
Jean-Baptiste Monnier has served as Bentley’s senior vice president of Asia Operations since 2005. From 2001 to 2005, Dr. Monnier headed Bentley Plant Sales for the International Operating Unit in Paris, France. He joined Bentley in 1994 to serve as vice president of corporate marketing and was later appointed to manage the Geoengineering (Geospatial and Civil) Software Division. Prior to joining Bentley, Dr. Monnier headed an engineering department at DUMEZ, an international EPC, now part of Vinci, and a research lab at the
French CRNS. He holds a Ph.D. from the Aerospace Engineering Department at the Illinois
Institute of Technology in Chicago and an Executive M.B.A. from CPA in Paris.
