There is a general awakening within the industry: there are many advantages to creating 3D models early in the life of a project. With the power of computers and software this is now a viable option in a design office. This presentation discusses some of the programs used by Fluor (including PlantWise and AutoPLANT) that can create these advantages, and some of the methods that have proved successful.
