Based fully on Bentley's publishing technology, the Dutch Municipality of Maastricht created a Web Service Information Centre for both the intranet and the Internet.
The projet allowed the municipality to publish its Oracle Spatial data in the Open Geospatial Consortium Web Map Service (WMS) format to third parties.
The municipality is actively involved with the Cross-Border project, which involved surrounding municipalities, the province of Limburg and German Authorities.
Training and services were essential to the complex implementation of the Web Service Centre.
