Présenté par:  Jayant Sharma - Oracle New England Development Center, Spatial Products, Oracle Corporation, USA Geometry Semantics in Spatial Information
Sommaire:

Geometry has always been central to spatial information because it allows complex spatial forms to be accurately represented. As requirements for spatial information become more complex, geometry is again being used to manage that complexity, but in ways that might not be recognizable to many GIS experts. Within this shifting framework, this presentation will examine the present and potential future requirements affecting the spatial paradigm.
