About the Be Inspired Awards
Since 2004, the Be Inspired Awards competition has showcased excellence and innovation in the design, construction, and operations of infrastructure projects around the world. The Be Inspired Awards is unique—the only competition of its kind that is global in scope and comprehensive in categories covered, encompassing all types of infrastructure projects. In keeping with Bentley’s goal of Sustaining Infrastructure, Be Inspired also includes Special Recognition Awards for Sustaining Our Society, Sustaining Our Environment, and Sustaining the Professions.

Be Inspired submissions that have the honor of becoming a nominee will be published in The Year in Infrastructure, the premier annual showcase of infrastructure achievement, distributed globally to over 150,000 professionals interested in the state of the art in our built environment. Finalists will receive an expense-paid (travel and hotel) trip to present their projects to the jurors, senior executives at leading infrastructure organizations, and over 60 key members of the trade and business press at the prestigious Be Inspired: Thought Leadership in Infrastructure event.

This intimate, invitation-only event provides a unique forum for senior-level executives to learn about the innovations driving the development and operations of the world's top infrastructure projects, to engage industry thought leaders in interactive discussions on topics of utmost importance to the business of sustaining infrastructure, and to interact with the global media and press.  The event features thought leadership presentations by the Be Inspired Awards finalists as well as executive roundtables focusing on critical issues in business, technology, and practice of infrastructure professionals around the world. Be Inspired culminates with an awards dinner recognizing outstanding achievement and innovation in infrastructure design, construction, and operations.
