Back to the Bentley process manufacturing solution
Technip Germany GmbH
Oil field development. This oil field development project in the Middle East covers 20 infield flowlines for oil production water supply and water reinjection with a total length of approximately 100 kilometers within difficult terrain.
EDG Helps Chevron Cut Costs on Offshore Platform Project with Cyra and Bentley AutoPLANT
By performing laser scanning to create a Bentley AutoPLANT as-built 3D model of an offshore oil platform, EDG reduced project costs by 15 percent. EDG, a full-service professional engineering corporation, has been helping owner operators identify and manage plant and structure as-built engineering content through laser scanning and 3D models.
A Forward-looking Philosophy
VECO Alberta Ltd.’s use of PlantSpace on Shell’s proposed Athabasca Oil Sands Project is resulting in a much more efficient design and engineering cycle. VECO, in a collaborative effort involving several other engineering firms, is working on the Athabasca Oil Sands Project, led by Shell Canada Limited.
Knowing the Drill
Kvaerner wins major contract on the strength of its IT/IS strategy for engineering, based on PlantSpace and MicroStation. Osberg is likely the most profitable oil and gas field in the world. The Osberg A and B plaforms were originally installed as oil-producing platforms, but needed to be converted to gas drilling.
Bechtel
Jamnagar Export Refinery Project. Bechtel is collaborating on the Jamnagar Export Refinery Project (JERP) in India, which has a plot plan bigger than that of London and a target completion time of less than 36 months.
Tapping New Resources
Offshore oil engineers use Bentley solutions to collaborate from offices on two continents. Just 42 miles off Scotland's Atlantic coast, the rich Clair oil field seemed tantalizing but out of reach since its discovery in 1977. The reservoir's complex geography frustrated attempts at a cost-effective plan for tapping the largest untouched field on the U.K. continental shelf.
Accelerate Platform Delivery
The North Rankin Redevelopment Project will recover remaining low-pressure gas from the North Rankin and Perseus gas fields and extend the field life to around 2040. Data Quality Manager has been central to the information management strategy throughout the detailed design phase, performing the role of central asset register for the whole NRB facility.
