Technical Requirements
Product Prerequisites:
Facilities Planner requires a running ProjectWise 8.1 application server; file server file transfer services and a Bentley Facilities data source. Planner clients require, Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher, and either MicroStation V8.1 or MicroStation PowerDraft V8.1. A ProjectWise 8.1 client is recommended for generic document management functionality
Client System Requirements:
Processor: Intel Pentium-based PC
Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows NT 4 (SP6 or later), and Windows 2000 (SP2)/XP
Memory: Minimum 64MB of RAM. 128MB of RAM is recommended.
Disk Space: 35MB free disk space
Input Device: Mouse
Application and File Server Requirements:
Processor: Intel Pentium®-based PC
Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows NT 4 (SP6 or later), Windows 2000 (SP2)/XP
Memory: Minimum 128MB of RAM. 256MB of RAM is recommended
Disk Space: dependent on size of dataset.
Database Server Requirements:
Bentley Facilities servers run with Oracle 8.1.7, Sybase SQL Anywhere 7 and Microsoft SQL server. Server requirements are based on the database vendor’s requirements.
