This project for Precision Valley Communications was to upgrade Metrocast of Connecticut’s existing 550 megahertz plant to 1 gigahertz for half of the towns and implement a complete aerial rebuild with an equipment upgrade in the underground areas for the other half. The goal is expansion of digital services to provide expanded voice, video, and data services.

Using MicroStation and Bentley Communications solutions, the workflow was made more efficient and enabled teams in the CAD and design departments to work side by side on the project. The CAD groups work was truly collaborative and easily managed. Time savings from the use of Bentley software totaled 100 hours per week.
