Slavin is a services manager who has been with Bentley since 2000. He is responsible for the growth and business development of Bentley products and services within local government and utilities sectors. Slavin analyzes user business requirements and implements project design plans. He provides technical support and consulting to organizations using Bentley’s geospatial applications. Slavin previously was a project manager and consultant at Bentley, where he worked on a variety of different projects that he built on Bentley’s geospatial applications.
Prior to Bentley, Slavin worked at Earthdata International as a team leader. He managed the entire production of projects such as USGS Digital Ortho Quarter Quads to ensure completion was on time and under budget.
He served in the United States Marine Corps as a chief training NCO, where he achieved the rank of sergeant before his honorable discharge in 1999. Slavin attended Towson University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in geography and a master’s degree in applied information technology.
