Kyle Steinfeld
Workshop Tutor
Steinfeld is a professor and Director of the Digital Futures Group at the Pratt Institute in New York City. He has engaged in collaborative studio teaching at Pratt since 2007, instructing studios from level 2 through level 4. He has also taught as a visiting instructor at Cornell University in 2007 and 2008, and has given lectures and workshops at a variety of institutions. These include TU Delft in Netherlands, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the University of Pennsylvania, University of California at Berkeley, the Ohio State University, the Stevens Institute and others.
Steinfeld spent one year as a PhD researcher at TU Delft in the Netherlands, and holds a Masters of Architecture from MIT as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Design from the University of Florida. Professionally, he has worked with and consulted for many design firms. These include Skidmore Owings and Merrill, Acconci Studio, Kohn Petersen Fox Associates, Howler/Yoon, Diller Scofidio Renfro, TEN Arquitectos, and others.
