Workshop Tutor

De Biswas is a PhD student in the Computation Group, Department of Architecture, MIT. His interests revolve around design theory and design tool development. He is currently a visiting lecturer at Knowlton School of Architecture, Ohio State University teaching design computation courses in the graduate school.

He has been a part of the development team of GenerativeComponents over the last three years and has integrated several facilities including key features like drawing extraction and performance analysis via ecotect. He has taught computation workshops and courses in schools including MIT, Harvard, AA, Columbia, Georgia Tech, USC, Pratt Institute of Design and has been a consultant to professional practices including Morphosis, TVS, dECOi, Portman and Hoberman integrating GC in their work flow.
